We received a grant from the Mercers’ Company towards an intergenerational dance and music project to be choreographed by Simon Rice in which Sage DC were the older participants. The younger participants were students from Acland Burghley School in Tufnell Park, north London. Our partners in the project were community music company Soundcastle. The newly created work was performed in June 2013 at St. George’s Church, Bloomsbury in central London, as part of the Wilding Festival and then at the Shaw Theatre on Euston Road.
All funding during the 2013/14 season was obtained by former treasurer, fundraiser and former Sage DC member James Grant.
